Winx™ Pro 2.0.4 Release Notes

Changes in 2.0.4
Release 2.0.4 contains many changes, enhancements and additions. Many of the changes are summarized below.

Statements
The statements have been enhanced for easier readability by patients. Winx(tm) Pro statements continue to communicate the insurance payer and the patient responsibilities.

HCFA
Several updates were made to the HCFA report.

Insurance Narrative
For billing Post-OP care, the Insurance Narrative field has been moved from the Service table to the Insurance tab of the Slip item.

Information related to surgical care, assumed dates, and number of days can be entered here.

This information will print in Box 19 of the HCFA or submitted electronically as needed.

Credits and Overpayments
The ability to allow overpayments to Slip items has been added. This allows you to overpay one Slip item and use that overpayment to pay off future Slip items.

Adjustment Assistant
Many of you requested that the check boxes on the adjustment window be automatically selected when "Transfers" are made. Winx(tm) Pro now contains a Preference setting that can be selected to make this option available.

Ledger Summary
Many of you also requested an option to open the ledger with the "Summary" turned off. An additional preference for this feature can also be found in the "Preferences."

Estimated Payer amount
On the Slip items and additional field has been added in the "Insurance Summary" section. This field is called the "Est. Amount" field. It is calculated in order to estimate the insurance responsibility when a patient makes a copay or pays in full.

Birthday Notification
The Birthday Notification feature has been expanded. This Preference setting allows you to set the length of time in days that a notification is displayed at or near a patient's birthday.

An alert sound can be selected as well as a visual notification.

Reporting
As in version 1.2.2, reports have been enhanced or added in 2.0.
